I got on my treadmill today and got in 3.52 miles. I was even able to run without any straps or bands on my knee which was really nice.. I dont know if running on the treadmill makes a diffrence then running on the road but i had no pain in my knees today running without the straps.. My leg did well too.. It was still really hard to run on the treadmill and it seemed like it took forever so I am glad i am running shorter distances right now.. Also by keeping my miles low I was able to work on my speed today which felt really good. all in all a pretty good run..

Hey. First off, I have to ask you why you run with the straps on period? Secondly, I would suggest to run more often without the straps (not sure of your reasoning for wearing them). I use to play basketball and run with the strap on but it was doing more harm than good. It weakens the muscles around the knee. I had to do a lot of leg extensions just to get that strength back in my knee. Also, make sure you have the proper running shoes. That can cause knee pain as well. Anyway, keep up the good work!!!!
Thanks for the advice... I wear the straps because my doctor told me to, to give my knee support and help with the pain. I have had 2 surgeries on it and I was told it helps hold the knee cap in place..I will try and continue to do it without as long as my knee tolerates it.
